Donations to ANZ's Canterbury Earthquake Appeal 

Donations to ANZ New Zealand's Canterbury Earthquake Appeal can be sent to account number 01-1839-0188939-00 using ANZ Internet Banking or made at any ANZ branch.

The Earthquake Appeal Account now totals more than $6 million since the February quake, which includes a record $335,000 donated by ANZ New Zealand staff members.

Staff donations have been matched dollar for dollar by the bank and this will continue. The $6 million figure is in addition to ANZ New Zealand’s initial $2 million donation to the relief efforts since September.

The amount is believed to be the most money ever raised in an appeal account at the bank.

All proceeds of the appeal fund will go directly to NZ Red Cross to help Canterbury's disaster response.

People can continue to make donations to the Canterbury Earthquake Appeal either at an ANZ Branch (account number: 01-1839-0188939-00) or at The National Bank (account number: 06-0869-0548507-00), or via internet banking.
