ANZ Championship

The ANZ Championship is the only competition of its kind, a semi-professional Netball series, pitting the top 5 regional teams from New Zealand against the top 5 regional teams from Australia who compete each week, from March to July, in an exciting season of local and trans-Tasman netball rivalry.

ANZ has a heritage of supporting prestigious sporting events and as a co-founder with Netball New Zealand and Netball Australia, is proud to be the Principal Sponsor of this iconic competition since its inception in 2008. Our six year commitment makes this sponsorship the single largest female sport sponsorship across Australasia.

The ANZ Championship sponsorship not only demonstrates ANZ’s continued commitment to the advancement of netball by providing a pathway from participation through to elite level,  but it also supports our strategy of helping New Zealanders achieve more by giving them more from the game they love.

24 March will see the start of the 2013 competition and for more information visit
