An A-Z Review is a complimentary one-on-one session with one of our business specialists. They'll explore your business’ current financial situation and goals for the future in order to identify a solution that suits your business.

No matter what stage your business is at, from start-up to expansion and maturity, at an A-Z Review we'll explore what's happening in your business and offer solutions based on your specific business needs. These could include:

  • ways to make your cash flow more manageable
  • loans to finance expansions, new equipment, property, etc
  • savings accounts to earn interest on your business' money
  • providing easier access to your business' money
  • merchant services such as EFTPOS, FastPay and credit card facilities.

You can have an A-Z Review in branch, over the phone, or one of our Business Specialists can come to you. There's no cost and no obligation - and you don't even need to be an existing ANZ customer to benefit from this free, personalised review.

Your A-Z Review involves 3 easy steps:

  1. Finding out what’s important to your business

    Your A-Z Review starts with a discussion about your current financial position, priorities and goals for your business. For example, you may find you want to buy new equipment, earn interest on your business’ money or explore better ways of managing debt.

    By knowing what’s on your horizon, we could identify where your current banking arrangements may work more efficiently to help you achieve your business goals, both now and in the future.

  2. Reviewing your business banking style

    We all form different banking habits over the years. But a few changes to the way you organise your money could make a real difference to your business when life throws surprises your way. We could make it easier to consolidate your banking, streamline your accounts or explore better ways of managing debt. And we may be able to help you avoid some of the fees you currently pay.

  3. Identifying a solution to suit your business

    Once your business goals and opportunities have been discussed, we will work with you to get your banking sorted and help you make the most of your finances.

What are the benefits to my business?

By sitting with a Business Manager and having an A-Z Review, you’ll be able to explore your current banking, consider your future goals and create an individual plan for your business. This one-on-one conversation will help you identify solutions that may suit your business better.

How is this different from Financial Planning?

During your A-Z Review our Business Managers will discuss your current and future business banking needs. If you require personal advice on matters such as building your savings and investment, preparing yourself for retirement or protecting you and your family, we can organise a time that is convenient for you to meet with an ANZ Financial Adviser.

Do I need to go into the branch to do this?

We can organise for a Business Manager to visit you, or you are welcome to come in to your local branch. An A-Z Review is a personalised service and is available at any of our branches throughout New Zealand. If it is more convenient, we can also organise for a Business Manager to conduct your review over the phone. To book an appointment, you can book online, visit your local branch or contact your local Business Specialist.

Who will have the conversation with me?

We understand that every business is unique. We have ANZ Business Managers available in most branches. We also have ANZ Agri Business Specialists available in selected branches.

We will discuss your business’ current financial situation; including products you have with us and with other financial institutions, your plans for the future and ways to optimise your business banking.

What are the outcomes?

This one-on-one conversation will help you identify solutions that may suit your business better. Following your A-Z Review you will have an individual business plan based on your current banking and future goals.

What do I need to bring?

Bring any information about your current business banking, including statements and documents from your existing banking accounts, both ANZ and non-ANZ accounts.

How long does it take?

The review is straightforward, and should help you with your next financial decisions and provide you with the information you need to move your business forward. Your conversation should take approximately 20-40 minutes.

What if I'm not currently an ANZ customer?

An A-Z Review is not just for existing ANZ business customers, we offer this complimentary, obligation free review to all businesses.

How much does it cost?

An A-Z Review has no cost and no obligation, it is a complimentary service offered to you throughout 
New Zealand.
