    ANZ E*TRADE* is your convenient and easy way to buy and sell shares listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) online.

    Before registering with ANZ E*TRADE, you should note:

    • To register for ANZ E*TRADE you must be an Australian or New Zealand resident.
    • To trade with ANZ E*TRADE you need cleared funds in the ANZ E*TRADE Online Investing Bank Account (ANZ E*TRADE Bank Account). The account will be opened for you once you have submitted your signed Application Form.

    Important information about transferring funds:

    • When transferring funds into the ANZ E*TRADE Bank Account, we recommend that you transfer funds via a Telegraphic Transfer (TT) unless you are registered for the Australian ANZ Internet Banking service. All TTs to the account must be in Australian dollars.
    • If you send a cheque to ANZ E*TRADE to lodge in the ANZ E*TRADE Bank Account it can take up to six weeks for these funds to clear.
    • You will not be able to transfer funds in real-time unless you have another Australian bank account linked to the Australian ANZ Internet Banking service.
    • When completing your Application Form, please ensure you write ‘NZ Resident’ in the Tax File Number field in question 14, otherwise you will charged tax at the highest rate.
