Moving to Australia?

If you’re moving from New Zealand to Australia, we can open an account with ANZ Australia for you. Just locate any ANZ branch to get things set up. When you visit please bring along proof of identification and address verification.

Until you arrive in Australia, keep tabs on your account via ANZ Internet Banking or by ANZ Phone Banking.

Activate your ANZ Australia account

After you arrive in Australia you’ll need to visit an ANZ branch to activate your account. Then you'll be able to make full use of the account. Once your Australian account is activated, you’ll be able to view your account online or you can check your balance with a phone call.
