Qantas Frequent Flyer points

  • Earn one Qantas Frequent Flyer point# per $1 spent on eligible purchases up to $30,000 per annum**.
  • After that, you will earn one point per $2 spent on eligible purchases.

Travel benefits

Your Platinum card comes with travel benefits including:

  • complimentary Overseas Travel Insurance* for your overseas medical expenses, cancellations and lost or damaged luggage (you're automatically covered as long as you use your card to pay at least half of your pre-paid travel expenses)
  • Transport Accident Insurance* if you use your Platinum card to pay for the full cost of any trip on a plane, tourist bus, train or ferry licensed to carry passengers. That means you'll be covered should a fatal accident occur while you're boarding, on-board or getting off any of these transport types.

When you apply for an ANZ credit card, we may ask you to provide proof of income and identification.

Proof of income

One of the following:

  • your most recent payslip or salary notice
  • copies of bank statements that show your pay or salary deposits
  • a letter from your employer confirming your income
  • an Inland Revenue Department (IRD) "summary of earnings" notice.

If you're self-employed, you must supply:

  • signed financial statements for the past two years
  • a signed personal Statement of Financial Position
  • your personal tax return.
Proof of identification

A copy of one or two items from List A. If you provide only one item from List A, you must also provide one item from List B.

List A

  • Current passport
  • New Zealand drivers licence
  • Photo credit card.

List B

  • Most recent bank statement
  • Debit card
  • Credit card
  • Community services card
  • Club or society card.
