Credit Card Repayment Insurance is a great way to make sure your credit card payments are taken care of if something happens to you.
If you suffer an accident or illness, are made redundant or bankrupt or if you pass away or suffer a terminal illness we'll pay your credit card balance.
All you pay is a monthly premium based on your outstanding credit card balance.
If you are made redundant
We'll pay 15% of your credit card balance at the time you were made redundant for each month you're unemployed until:
If you suffer temporary disability owing to accident or illness
We'll pay 15% of your credit card account balance at the time of the incident for each month you're disabled:
If you suffer terminal illness, total and permanent disability or death
We'll pay the total outstanding credit card account balance up to $60,000.*
If you are declared bankrupt
We'll pay the total outstanding credit card account balance up to $30,000.*
If you are diagnosed with cancer, heart attack or stroke*
We'll pay the total outstanding credit card account balance up to $30,000.*

* Cover for all benefits, except death and diagnosis of a terminal illness, ends at age 65. Cover for death and diagnosis of a terminal illness ends at age 99.
The premium for this insurance costs just 79 cents for every $100 of the closing balance on your credit card statement and it's automatically added to your statement each month. If your monthly statement has a zero or credit balance, there's no premium charge so you only pay for the cover when you need it.
To apply for ANZ Credit Card Repayment Insurance, just tick the box in section 8 of the application form.
ANZ Credit Card Repayment Insurance is underwritten by ING Insurance Services (NZ) Limited, Level 4, Manpower House, 8 Willis Street, PO Box 787, Wellington, 6140. Full policy terms, conditions and exclusions are contained in the ANZ Credit Card Repayment Insurance Policy Document brochure, which we will send to you if your credit card application is approved and which can be obtained from any ANZ branch. If you're not happy with the cover, you can cancel the policy within 30 days and we will refund any premium charges. ANZ receives commission on the sale of the ANZ Credit Card Repayment Insurance.
