Most ANZ branches remain open during COVID-19 Alert Level 1 or 2. In Alert Level 3 and 4 we may have selected branches open. Branch openings may change so check back here for the latest information.
Auckland, Hamilton, Waitomo District, Waipa District and Otorohanga District - Alert Level 3
Selected branches will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am - noon, to provide essential services and banking support for vulnerable customers.
Please only visit a branch if you’re unable to do your banking any other way – we will be giving our vulnerable customers priority.
Rest of New Zealand - Alert Level 2
All branches will be open on their usual days and hours.
Branch services in Alert Level 3
During Level 3 branches will be open to provide only the following essential services:
- Simple cash withdrawals and deposits for customers who can’t do this any other way.
Fast Deposit service for businesses.
- Banking for Essential Service businesses who can’t use our Fast Deposit service.
- Providing replacement EFTPOS cards and Visa Debit cards.
- Assisting customers in getting set up for banking online and over the phone.
Visiting a branch
We’re taking the risk of community transmission of the Delta variant of COVID-19 seriously, in adherence with COVID-19 Government protocols – QR code check-in, physical distancing and PPE will be in place.
To help keep everyone safe please don’t visit a branch if you are unwell, awaiting results of a COVID test, have visited a location of interest, or are able to do your banking through one of our self-service options.
