Invaluable experience
The ANZ Technology Intern programme aims to provide you with the foundations you need to succeed.
We’re interested in people from diverse backgrounds, who are excited to be part of an industry that’s rapidly transforming for a digital and social world. People who want to make a difference for our customers, culture and community. We want to bring on people from different degrees and ages as well.
Kickstart your career
Our paid three-month internship runs from November to February and has a strong focus on learning and development while being provided with extensive support.
Our technology programme is a great way to explore a career with ANZ and gain invaluable experience.
We will provide you with the perfect opportunity to launch your technology career at ANZ.
Great minds don't think alike
Who can join the programme
The key to our success is to support and empower the diversity of thinking. We encourage students from all degree disciplines to apply for our programme.
We do things differently; be surprised by what you will find. Your university marks aren’t the be-all and end-all; we’re equally as interested in your creative thinking and comfort in adapting to new people and situations.
We’re looking for people who learn from challenges and failures, and are digitally savvy. Your interests, hobbies, skills and experiences also help us get to know you more.
To be eligible to get into our Technology Internship programme, please check what restrictions Summer of Tech and TupuToa have in place already.

“Having chosen to change careers from hospitality to technology, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to do this than ANZ. I was able to grow, learn and get a better understanding of what I needed to do. Having the right manager who works with you and has a journey set up for you is something that I would look for as it was really helpful to me. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or ask to be involved. There is an understanding that you won’t know what to do but trying to do what you can will ensure success for you.”
