ANZ win $5k towards your good energy upgrade competition terms and conditions

The ANZ win $5k towards your good energy upgrade competition starts on Thursday, 26 October at 12pm and ends on Tuesday, 12 December 2023 at 11:59pm.

By entering the competition, you could win $5,000 cash to put towards energy efficient upgrades to your home.

If you win, you will need to provide us with a valid New Zealand bank account number to transfer the cash prize to.

You must comment on the ANZ win $5k towards your good energy upgrade competition on the ANZ Aotearoa Facebook or Instagram post during the competition dates, with the good energy upgrades you want to make to your home and tag a friend.

An entry is received at the time it appears on Facebook or Instagram, not at the time you send or post it.

By entering the competition, you accept these terms and conditions.

To enter you must be:

• Aged 18 or older
• A New Zealand resident or living in New Zealand with at least six months remaining on a valid visa, when entering the competition. 

To be eligible to win a prize, you must have a valid New Zealand bank account number.

ANZ employees and contractors are not eligible to enter the competition. 

All entries will be verified based on the eligibility criteria listed in these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry without notice if it doesn’t meet eligibility requirements or breaches these terms and conditions.

The prize draw will take place on 14 December 2023.

ANZ will randomly select 1 entry from the entries across Facebook and Instagram and will check the selected entry for compliance with these terms and conditions. Where an entry does not comply with these terms and conditions, another entry will be selected from the non-winning entries across Facebook and Instagram.

ANZ will notify the winner via direct message on Facebook or Instagram, and the winner must confirm acceptance of the prize within 48 hours. If the potential winner cannot be reached within that time, they will forfeit the prize and another entry will be drawn.

Our decision is final. 

We will hold and use the information you provide to enter this competition in line with our privacy statement.

While TVNZ is the broadcaster of Grand Designs NZ, it is not involved with this competition. We won’t share any of the information you provide when you enter this competition, with TVNZ.

You have the right to check and correct any information you provide when you enter this competition.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) connected to this competition or prize, or any act or omission by us, to the extent the law allows. This also applies to other organisations connected with this competition. The only exceptions are for wilful default or gross negligence.

If an entry is not received due to any type of technical problem, organisations running this competition, including ANZ, are not liable.
