If you're a lawyer or solicitor, you can use the ANZ Solicitors Trust account for receiving or holding client funds - such as for property settlements, acquisitions and mergers, or litigations and trust settlements.
This account is only available to registered New Zealand lawyers and solicitors. If you are not either of the above, and are looking for a settlement account for trust funds, consider a Business Current account.

The convenience of online banking, specifically for businesses. Multiple users, multiple transactions, and easy payment authorisation make it the efficient way to make payments, manage cash flow and more.
Interest for the ANZ Solicitors Trust account is calculated daily and paid on the last business day of each month. Interest for non-business days is calculated based on the balance as at the previous business day. All interest accrued is rounded to the nearest cent before payment. If interest accrued in a month is less than $0.005 (half a cent), it will be rounded to $0 and means you will receive no interest for that month.
