Apply in our mobile app

To apply using the ANZ goMoney app, you'll need to be 18+, living in New Zealand and hold a current New Zealand passport or driver licence. If you’re aged 21+, you’ll get a Go account by default.

If you’d like a different account, a joint account, or if we can't verify your identity electronically; you’ll need to visit a branch after applying using our online form or by calling us.

Online form

Anyone aged 13+ can apply using our online form. We’ll be in touch to organise a visit to a branch to confirm your identity.

ANZ Jumpstart account

An account for anyone under 21, and full-time students, with no account or transaction fees.

  • $0 monthly fee
  • $0 transaction fees, 
  • $0 ANZ Visa Debit card annual fee
  • Interest-free overdraft of up to $2,000 on application (must be 18+)

Apply in our mobile app

To apply using the ANZ goMoney app, you'll need to be 18+, living in New Zealand and hold a current New Zealand passport or driver licence. If you’re aged 18-20, you’ll get a Jumpstart account by default.

If you’d like a different account, or if we can't verify your identity electronically; you’ll need to visit a branch after applying using our online form or by calling us.
