ANZ Solicitors Trust account

If you're a lawyer or conveyancer, you can use the ANZ Solicitors Trust account for receiving or holding client funds – such as for property settlements, acquisitions and mergers, or litigations and trust settlements.

Eligibility

This account is only available to registered New Zealand lawyers and conveyancers (or a firm of lawyers or conveyancers) who will be operating it as a nominated trust account. If you are not a lawyer or conveyancer, and are looking for a settlement account for trust funds, please contact us to discuss suitable account options.

Complies with legal obligations

We will pay interest earned on a monthly basis to the Lawyers and Conveyancers Special Fund Bank Account in accordance with section 302 of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006.

Fees

There are no transaction or account fees on this account, except for transactions made using ANZ Direct Online. Service charges may also apply.
