Valid proof of identification
A piece of mail addressed to your residential address from the last three months.
Identification documents that have a photo image need to be certified as true copies that represent a true likeness of the individual by an authorised person. Residential address documents or documents that do not have a photo image also need to be certified as true copies by an authorised person. For more information, please refer to page two of our ANZ Investments Identity Guide (PDF 348kB).
Alternatively, an ANZ staff member or an ANZ Investments approved financial adviser can verify your identification and address.
Please note that without acceptable proof of identity and residential address, you will be unable to make a withdrawal from your account.
Enrolling a minor in KiwiSaver

Statutory declaration requirements
In certain circumstances, when you make a withdrawal from your KiwiSaver account you will be required to complete a statutory declaration.
You will need to complete and sign the statutory declaration in the presence of an authorised person who will be your witness.
People who can witness statutory declarations in New Zealand
person enrolled as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court
Justice of the Peace
Registrar or Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, High Court, a District Court or Court of Appeal
any other person authorised by law to take statutory declarations.

Justice of the Peace
solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand
a person who has the legal authority to administer an oath for a judicial proceeding in that country.
