ANZ Coin Toss Kid terms and conditions

The ANZ Coin Toss Kid competition for selected BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS matches starts at 10am on 10 September 2026 and ends at 10am on 31 January 2027.

To enter the ANZ Coin Toss Kid Promotion (the ‘Promotion’) any person residing in New Zealand aged 18 years and over as at 1 September 2026 (the ‘Entrant’) must fill in the relevant application form shown on Facebook or Instagram with details of their nominated ANZ Coin Toss Kid.

The promoter is ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited (the ‘Promoter’).

By entering the competition, you accept these terms and conditions.

All entries become the property of the Promoter.

To be eligible to enter the Promotion:

• The Entrant must reside in New Zealand and be aged 18 years or over as at 1 September 2026;
• The Entrant must nominate a child who resides in New Zealand and is aged between 7 and 13 years as at 1 September 2026;
• The Nominee must be a relative or close family friend of the Entrant;
• If the Entrant is not the parent or legal guardian of the Nominee, the Entrant must have authority from the Nominee’s parent or legal guardian to nominate the child and act as their chaperone to the selected BLACKCAPS or WHITE FERNS match; and
• The Promoter must be able to confirm the eligibility of the Entrant and the Nominee, including any required parent or legal guardian consent, before the Prize is awarded.

The Entrant may enter as many times as they wish, provided each entry nominates a different Nominee. Multiple entries that nominate the same Nominee, or are otherwise duplicates, may result in all nominations by that Entrant being disqualified.

Entries will be invalid if they:

• Cannot be read or understood
• Are incomplete
• Break any intellectual property rights or are plagiarised
• Are discriminatory in any way, including racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic or any other content we consider offensive
• Do not comply with these terms and conditions.

If the winning Nominee or Entrant is replaced under these terms and conditions, any replacement must also meet the applicable eligibility requirements and, where relevant, parent or legal guardian consent requirements in this Eligibility section.

There are 26 Coin Toss Kid experiences to win this season. The winning Nominee drawn will receive the following (the ‘Prize’):

• The experience of participating in the coin toss with the team captains at the commencement of that match.
• Four tickets to that match – one for the winning Nominee, one for the Entrant and two for guests.

The winning Nominee drawn for the cricket match, the Entrant and the two guests will need to make their own way to that match. No travel or accommodation will be provided as part of the Prize.

The Prize draw will take place three weeks prior to each match.

Once eligibility of the Nominee and the Entrant has been confirmed by the Promoter, the Entrant will be contacted by email within 72 hours following the Prize draw using the contact details provided on the entry form. If the Entrant cannot be contacted with reasonable effort within this 72 hour period, the Prize will be forfeited and another Nominee will be drawn from all remaining non-Prize winning entries received for the relevant match.

The Entrant is required to confirm theirs and the winning Nominee’s participation in the Prize by email within 24 hours of being successfully contacted, otherwise the Prize will be forfeited and another Nominee will be drawn from all remaining non-Prize winning entries received for the relevant match.

Where the Entrant is not the parent or legal guardian of the winning Nominee:

• The Entrant must at the same time provide the contact details for the parent or legal guardian of the winning Nominee.
• The Promoter will contact the parent or legal guardian of the winning Nominee to confirm their consent to these Terms and Conditions.
• If the parent or legal guardian of the winning Nominee cannot be contacted with reasonable effort or does not consent to these Terms and Conditions, the Prize will be forfeited and another Nominee will be drawn from all remaining non-Prize winning entries received for the relevant match.

The Prize is not transferable, unless either the winning Nominee or Entrant can't attend the match, then they must notify the Promoter within 24 hours of the prize winning notification email being sent, nominating a replacement(s). They must supply the names, contact details and relationship to the winning Nominee and Entrant of their replacement(s). The Promoter at its sole discretion may accept any change to the winning Nominee and/or Entrant. In the event the details of replacement(s) are not provided or the Promoter does not accept such a change, the Prize will be forfeited and another Nominee will be drawn from all remaining non-Prize winning entries received.

All tickets are issued subject to Ticketek terms and conditions (‘Ticket Conditions’) which apply to the possession and use of tickets. The winning Nominee, the Entrant and the two guests must comply with the Ticket Conditions.

The winning Nominee will receive an itinerary once the Entrant has confirmed theirs and the winning Nominee’s participation in the Prize, setting out meeting times, venue details and a match day contact person for the match. The winning Nominee must comply with the Ticket Conditions and the instructions in the itinerary or the Prize will be forfeited and another Nominee drawn from all remaining non-Prize winning entries received.

The Entrant consents to the Promoter making use of their name and/or photograph(s) for publicity purposes, including advertising, online and social media use, as determined by the Promoter.

The winning Nominee’s parent or legal guardian must consent to the Promoter making use of the winning Nominee’s name and/or photograph(s) for publicity purposes, including advertising, online and social media use, as determined by the Promoter.

The Promoter may substitute an alternative reward without notice in the event any Prize or part of a Prize becomes unavailable.

The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry as a direct or indirect result of a technical problem of any kind, internet malfunction or any issues related to the submission of entry forms. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s website database, not at the time of transmission by the Entrant.

The decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into about those decisions.

The Promoter may change, extend, amend or cancel the Promotion at any time.

The information provided to enter this Promotion will be held securely by the Promoter and will be used for the purposes of administering the Promotion (which may include disclosure to agents of the Promoter for the purpose of administering the Promotion). Entrants and Nominees have the right to access and request correction of this information by emailing sponsorshipenquiriesNZ@anz.com.

The Promoter, New Zealand Cricket and any other organisation or agency associated with the Promotion and/or Prize shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or any other loss), arising out of or in connection with the Promotion, the Prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter, New Zealand Cricket or any other organisation or agency associated with the Promotion and/or Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter shall not be responsible for, and the Entrants and/or (where applicable) the Nominee’s parent or legal guardian release the Promoter from, any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property if, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control (for example, including due to computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures), this Promotion is not able to be conducted as planned and/or the Promotion's administration, security, fairness or integrity are corrupted or affected.

The Promoter may modify or suspend the Promotion and/or invalidate any entries of any individual in any way involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of the Promotion or abusing the communication system upon which the Promotion is being conducted.

These Terms and Conditions are to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.

We may change, extend, or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
