Volunteering

Employees are encouraged to volunteer their skills and time to community groups they have a passion for.

Staff from ANZ and The National Bank are able to donate one work day each year to help in the community. In the past year, more than 15,000 hours has been spent helping community groups across New Zealand.

Since the volunteering programme began in 2001, our staff have been involved in a broad range of activities, from manual labour, collecting for charities, packing food parcels and cooking, to offering skilled-based support in areas such as IT, accounting, human resources and communications.
