We’re changing how we look

As we modernise our brand, you’ll start to see our new look. Find out what’s changing and how to spot any scammers pretending to be ANZ.

Our evolving brand

We’re updating our brand with digital use and accessibility in mind.

The subtle changes include an updated Pacific Blue brand colour, new font and a simple, modern look and feel. Our logo will still be the familiar ‘ANZ’ with a Lotus. 

As our visual identity evolves, you’ll start to see our new look across ATMs and branches, on credit and debit cards, and within our digital channels like emails and the ANZ goMoney mobile app.


Change over time

We’re making changes progressively, so you’ll likely see our ‘old’ and ‘new’ identities side by side for a little while.

We last refreshed our brand in 2009, with a small glow-up in 2015. It’s served us well, but it’s time to modernise for a more digital world.

Updating our banking app

Our banking app goMoney will be among the first to get the new brand identity, due to be released in late October 2024 with an updated icon and start screen (where you unlock the app).

Stay safe from scams and fraud

As we start to look different, here’s how to know it’s us.

Hover over the email send address and check it’s from a legitimate ANZ email address.

We’ll never ask you to:

  • Click a link in a text message
  • Enter your personal or banking information by clicking a link in a message
  • Transfer money to a ‘safe account’, purchase gift cards or set up crypto currency accounts 
  • Tell us your banking PINs, two-factor authentication code (Visa Secure or OnlineCode messages) or passwords
  • Log on to ANZ Internet Banking via a link
  • Give us remote access to your devices or download software.

Our layers of fraud protection help keep your money safe. These include 24/7 fraud detection to spot unusual transactions, OnlineCode two-factor authentication, and goMoney card settings to protect your credit or debit cards.
