ANZ impersonation emails

January 2021

We're aware that fraudsters are emailing New Zealanders pretending to be ANZ New Zealand. The email may look like it's come from an ANZ address and aims to get the recipient's attention by saying their accounts are blocked or will be deactivated unless they click on a link and provide information.

If you receive an email of this kind do not click on any links and delete the message immediately.

If you have inadvertently provided your details, please call us immediately on
0800 269 296 (international +64 4 470 3142).

Below are examples of the phishing emails:

Remember to only log into online banking via www.anz.co.nz. ANZ will not send links to Internet Banking through text or email.
