Intern programme

Te Paeroa Tauira

Our Intern programme aims to provide you with the foundations you need to grow and succeed. Applications usually open in March.

Invaluable experience

Our paid eight-week programme is a great way to explore a career with ANZ and gain invaluable experience.

We’re interested in people from diverse backgrounds, who are excited to be part of an industry that’s rapidly transforming for a digital and social world. People who want to make a difference for our customers, culture and community.

On completing the programme, you might even receive an early offer for our next Graduate programme. We’ll provide you with the perfect opportunity to launch your career at ANZ.

What kind of work will you be doing?

We believe the best way to learn is to throw yourself into new experiences. Each of our eight-week Intern programme streams has a different focus.

Join our retail and business banking programme and you could focus on banking, lending and investments to help customers achieve their goals. In the Corporate Affairs team, you might be helping with press releases or working directly with the CEO on internal updates. In the Chief Information Office, you might work on new digital innovations or business planning projects.

You’ll work as part of a team and receive guidance, support, and feedback from your manager. You’ll get the chance to network with a range of graduates and managers, and develop skills important for future success in the workplace.
