ANZ ‘Win $100k towards your ANZ home loan’ competition terms and conditions

The ‘Win $100k towards your ANZ home loan’ competition starts on 11 May 2025 at 12.01am and ends on 30 September 2025 at 11.59pm.

One of five opportunities to win NZ$100,000 paid into an agreed ANZ Everyday or Flexible account.

You will be automatically entered into the prize draws if you are an eligible borrower with an eligible ANZ Home Loan, as recorded in ANZ's records at 11.59pm on the last business day of each month during the competition period (May, June, July, August and September 2025).

By accepting the prize, you accept these terms and conditions. 

You are eligible to be entered into the prize draws if you are a natural person who is named as a borrower on an eligible ANZ Home Loan (alone or with others). 

You are not eligible if:

• As borrower, you’re a company, partnership, or other entity
• You’re an ANZ employee or contractor, or an individual who has joint borrowing with an ANZ employee or contractor.

If there is more than one eligible borrower on an eligible ANZ Home Loan, each eligible borrower will receive one entry.

Only one entry into the prize draws per eligible borrower applies, regardless of how many eligible ANZ Home Loans are in the name of that eligible borrower (alone or with others). 

An eligible ANZ Home Loan:

• Can have a fixed, floating or flexible interest rate
• Has an outstanding balance at 11.59pm on the last business day of the month during the competition period (May, June, July, August, and September 2025)
• Is secured by a mortgage or other security granted in favour of ANZ over a residential investment or owner-occupied property, including bare land
• Is in the name of at least one eligible borrower (even if there are other borrowers)
• Excludes estate lending and any loans where the only borrowers are companies, partnerships or other entities.

If an eligible borrower wins a prize, they are no longer eligible to be included in future prize draws.

All entries will be verified based on the eligibility criteria in these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry without notice if it doesn’t meet eligibility requirements or breaches these terms and conditions.

There will be five prize draws, one for each month of the competition period (May, June, July, August and September 2025). 

ANZ will identify and check eligibility to be entered into the prize draws based on ANZ’s records as at 11.59pm on the last business day of each month within the competition period.

The prize draws will take place within five business days of the last business day of each month.

The first randomly drawn entry that meet these terms and conditions will win the prize for that month, subject to ANZ’s ability to contact that potential winner. 

ANZ will make three attempts to contact the potential winner by phone or email within five business days of the prize draw using the contact details we have on file. If we cannot reach that potential winner within that time, that potential winner will forfeit the prize and ANZ will draw another entry. 

Our decisions as to prize winners, eligibility, and attempted contacts are final.

We will use the information that you provided as an ANZ Home Loan customer to automatically enter you in this competition in line with our privacy statement. 

By claiming the prize, you agree that ANZ can (in its discretion) use your first name and region in  outdoor and radio media, and on its social media platforms or website including, but not limited to, Facebook and Instagram. Your name and region may be used for promotional purposes or other updates relating to this competition. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us in writing.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) connected to this competition or prize, or any act or omission by us, to the extent the law allows. The only exceptions are for wilful default or gross negligence.

If an entry is not received due to any type of technical problem, ANZ is not liable.

While the winners can choose what they use the funds for, we want each winner to make the most of this fantastic prize. Each winner agrees that ANZ will arrange an appointment with an ANZ Home Loan Coach for a no obligation discussion on how the winner could use the prize to help pay off their home loan sooner.

We will waive any Early Repayment Recovery for any winner who chooses to use the prize money to pay off some or all of an ANZ Home Loan with a fixed interest rate. 

We may change, extend, or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
