ANZ Australian Open ticket competition terms and conditions

The ANZ Australian Open competition starts on Monday 1 December 2025 12.01am and ends on Friday 12 December 2025 at 11.59pm.

Tickets for up to four people to attend the Australian Open Quarterfinal 2026, taking place in Melbourne Wednesday 28 January 2026 (day session). The prize includes: 

• Three nights’ accommodation at a four-star hotel selected by ANZ for up to four people
• AUD1,000 (NZD equivalent on day the payment is made) spending money, paid into your ANZ bank account. 
• Return economy fare flights selected by ANZ to and from your nearest regional or international airport in New Zealand, departing Tuesday 27 January and returning Friday 30 January 2026.

All other costs associated with attending the match are not included. All taxes, meals, luggage fees, incidental hotel charges, and any ancillary costs which may be payable as a consequence of receiving the prize, such as any other travel-related expenses not specified in these terms and conditions are the sole responsibility of the winner and their guests.

If you’re an eligible ANZ customer based on ANZ’s records at the time of the draw (see ‘Eligibility’ below), you’ll automatically be entered into the prize draw. 

By entering the competition, you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.

To be eligible for automatic entry you must be:

• Aged 18 or older
• A New Zealand resident living in New Zealand or living in New Zealand with at least six months remaining on a valid visa when entering the competition
• Able to travel to Australia
• A current ANZ customer who holds (either individually or jointly) at least one current ANZ transactional or savings account, ANZ Personal Loan, ANZ Credit Card, ANZ Home Loan, ANZ-managed investment fund or is a member of an ANZ-managed KiwiSaver scheme.
• ANZ Business, Commercial, Agri and Institutional customers are excluded. As are Trusts or any organisational entities including sole traders.

Each customer is eligible individually as one entry only. For joint account holders, each individual account holder is eligible and will receive one entry to the competition.

ANZ employees and contractors are not eligible to enter the competition.

All entries will be verified based on the eligibility criteria listed in these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry without notice if it doesn’t meet eligibility requirements or breaches these terms and conditions.

The travel arrangements made by ANZ (including dates and airline) cannot be changed and must be accepted by the winner and their guests. Any changes to any elements of the prize will be at the winner’s own expense and must be agreed to by ANZ. Arrangements cannot be made to extend the stay in Melbourne. All travel and accommodation is subject to availability at all times and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner.

The prize draw will take place during the week commencing Monday 15 December 2025.

If your entry is the first entry drawn that meets these terms and conditions, and we can contact you, you will win the prize.

ANZ will make three attempts to contact each potential winner by phone or email within 24 hours of the prize draw, using the contact details we have on file. If we cannot reach a potential winner within that time, or we leave a message with a potential winner and they don’t respond to our attempts to contact them within those 24 hours, that potential winner will forfeit the prize and ANZ will draw another entry.

Our decisions regarding prize winners, eligibility, ticketing, flights, accommodation and attempted contacts are final, and shall be at ANZ’s discretion.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. If for any reason the prize becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to swap it for a similar or equal prize without notice.

All Australian Open 2026 tickets are issued subject to the ticket terms and conditions.

The winner and their guests must comply with the ticket terms and conditions as well as all applicable laws, and any rules or regulations established by the accommodation provider, airlines, or event/concert venues, or other prize-related businesses.

You have the right to check and correct any information you provide to enter this competition.

By claiming a prize, the winner and their guests consent to ANZ using their name(s) and/or photograph(s) for publicity purposes as determined by ANZ. This includes the use of their name(s) and photos for advertising and promotional purposes, including on social media.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) connected to this competition or prize, or any act or omission by us, to the extent the law allows. This also applies to other organisations connected with this promotion. The only exceptions are for wilful default or gross negligence.

If an entry is not received due to any type of technical problem, organisations running this competition, including ANZ, are not liable.

For goods or services supplied by third parties, we do not guarantee their quality or suitability for your circumstances. To the extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any loss due to using those goods or services.

ANZ’s decisions on all matters regarding the prize draw will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

We may change, extend, or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without notice if we reasonably consider you will benefit from the change.
