The ANZ ‘Be the host’ ultimate BBQ kit competition starts on Monday 15 December at 12.01am and ends on Friday 13 February 2026 at 11.59pm.

By entering the competition, you could be in to win one ultimate BBQ kit valued at up to $5,000. The ultimate BBQ kit includes:

Items in the ultimate BBQ kit can change without notice and may depend on availability.

We will automatically enter eligible customers into the draw, and these terms and conditions apply to those entries.

You are eligible to be entered into the draw if you meet these criteria:

• You submitted an ANZ Home Loan application, for a minimum loan of $200,000, after Monday 15 December at 12.01am which was approved and documented before Friday 13 February at 11.59pm.
• All borrowers to that ANZ Home Loan are first home buyers, which ANZ will determine in our sole discretion.
• You are providing new residential security for that ANZ Home Loan. 

Each eligible borrower receives one entry only, regardless of the number of loans (alone or with others). 

You are not eligible to be entered into the draw if:

• As a borrower, you’re a company, partnership, trust, sole trader, or other entity.
• You’re an ANZ employee or contractor.
• The ANZ Home Loan was documented before 15 December 2025.

ANZ will verify all entries against the eligibility criteria above. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry without notice if it doesn’t meet eligibility requirements.

The prize draw will take place week commencing 23 February 2026.

If your entry is the first entry drawn and we can contact you, you will win the prize.

ANZ will make three attempts to contact the potential winner by phone or email within 48 hours of the prize draw, using the contact details we have on file. If we cannot reach that potential winner within that time, or we leave a message with a potential winner and they don’t respond to our attempts to contact them within those 48 hours, that potential winner will forfeit the prize and ANZ will draw another entry.

The prize can’t be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. If for any reason the prize or any item in the prize pack becomes unavailable, we may swap it for a similar or equal prize without notice.

Our decisions on eligibility, prize draws, and prizes are final.

We will hold and use the information you provide to enter this competition in line with our privacy statement.

You agree that ANZ can (at our discretion) use your first name, region, and photos on our social media platforms or website, including Facebook and Instagram. We may use your name, region and photos for promotional purposes or other updates about ANZ or our products. You can withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us in writing.

You can check and correct information we hold about you, including any we used as part of this competition.

We are not liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) connected to this competition or prize, or any act or omission by us, to the extent the law allows. This also applies to other organisations connected with this promotion. The only exceptions are for wilful default or gross negligence.

If we do not include an eligible customer due to any type of technical problem, we are not liable.

We do not guarantee the quality or suitability of goods or services supplied by third parties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss from use of those goods or services.

We may change, extend, or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
