Fans since forever

In a stadium, in your backyard or at the beach, cricket has been a part of our communities for generations.

Major sponsor for 25 years

We’re proud to say we’ve been big supporters of New Zealand Cricket for 25 years. Over that time, we’ve cheered on the WHITE FERNS and BLACKCAPS through all the wins and losses. No matter what the scoreboard says, the way the teams play their cricket makes us proud.

Like you, we’ve been Fans Since Forever.

ANZ Cricket Roadie

Join us at the ANZ Cricket Roadie as we celebrate 25 years of supporting cricket in our communities. Meet the BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS, get tips from the players, score some cricket freebies, plus there’ll be games, sweet sounds, and food. See the special commemorative bat as it gets signed by 25 of the greatest New Zealand Cricket stars from the last 25 years.

We will be visiting the following cities as well as cricket clubs across the country.

Wellington – Waitangi Park – 4 December 2024

Hamilton – Claudelands Field – 12 December 2024

Auckland – Eden Park Outer Oval – 16 February 2025

Christchurch – Hagley Park – 14 March 2025

ANZ Fan-bassador

Look out for our ANZ Fan-bassador George Harper Junior who will be roaming the crowd at games celebrating all the things Kiwis love about cricket. He’ll be part of the free-to-air coverage this summer on TVNZ, TVNZ+ and DUKE.

For match information, see the New Zealand Cricket website.

Cricket in the Community

There would be no BLACKCAPS or WHITE FERNS without grassroots cricket. We take an equal measure of pride in supporting community cricket.

We’ve injected over $2 million into helping clubs and communities keep playing the game they love with the ANZ Cricket Grants.

This year, ANZ is helping female youth cricketers make the change from white to coloured pants to help them feel more comfortable on the pitch. We are also supporting youth teams across Aotearoa with $100,000 worth of cricket kit to boost their season.

Hit your summer for six!

A game of backyard cricket with friends and family is a quintessential part of a kiwi summer.

Do you have a family member that takes it too seriously? Or someone that makes up their own rules? What about that seven-year-old neighbour that seems to be more talented than the rest!

Watch how things pan out with the Sharma family and their community get together to enjoy our favourite summer game.
