KiwiSaver Balance Top-up competition terms and conditions

The ‘Women’s $8,479 KiwiSaver Balance Top-up’ competition period starts on 1 September 2025 at 12.01am and ends on 31 March 2026 at 11.59pm.

One of 14 opportunities to win $8,479 paid directly into your ANZ-managed KiwiSaver scheme account.

You will be automatically entered into each prize draw if you’re an eligible member of either the:

• ANZ KiwiSaver Scheme
• ANZ Default KiwiSaver Scheme
• OneAnswer KiwiSaver Scheme

As recorded in ANZ's records at 11.59pm on the last business day of each calendar month during the competition period (September 2025 to March 2026).

By accepting the prize, you accept these terms and conditions.

You’re eligible to be entered into each prize draw, if based on ANZ’s records at 11.59pm, on the last business day of each month during the competition period (September 2025 to March 2026) you: 

• Are a New Zealand resident
• Identified as female when gender was collected or updated
• Are a member of either the ANZ KiwiSaver Scheme, ANZ Default KiwiSaver Scheme or the OneAnswer KiwiSaver Scheme
• Are aged between 25 and 60 years (inclusive)
• Demonstrate a KiwiSaver account balance that is at least 20% less than the national men’s average balance for your age band as set out below:

* National averages reported in MJW KiwiSaver Demography study, as at December 2024.

** If your KiwiSaver balance is equal to or less than the maximum women’s balance for your age band, you’ll be automatically in the draw.

You’re not eligible if:

• You’re an ANZ employee or contractor
• You’ve already won a prize in the competition in a previous month during the competition period. 

All entries will be verified based on the eligibility criteria in these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry without notice if it doesn’t meet eligibility requirements or breaches these terms and conditions.

There will be 14 prize draws, two for each calendar month of the competition period (September 2025 to March 2026). 

ANZ will identify and check eligibility to be entered into the prize draws based on ANZ’s records as at 11.59pm on the last business day of each month within the competition period.

The prize draws will take place within five business days of the last business day of each month.

The first two randomly drawn entries that meet these terms and conditions will win the two prizes for that month, subject to ANZ’s ability to contact each potential winner. 

ANZ will make three attempts to contact each potential winner by phone or email within five business days of the prize draw, using the contact details we have on file. If we cannot reach a potential winner within that time, that potential winner will forfeit the prize and ANZ will draw another entry.  

Our decisions as to prize winners, eligibility, and attempted contacts are final.

We will use the information that you provided as a member of an ANZ-managed KiwiSaver scheme to automatically enter you in this competition in line with our privacy statement. 

By claiming the prize, you agree that ANZ can (in its discretion) use your first name and region in outdoor and radio media, and on its social media platforms or website, including but not limited to, Facebook and Instagram. Your name and region may be used for promotional purposes or other updates relating to this competition. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us in writing.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) connected to this competition or prize, or any act or omission by us, to the extent the law allows. The only exceptions are for wilful default or gross negligence.

If an entry is not received due to any type of technical problem, ANZ is not liable.

We may change, extend, or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
