ANZ ‘Visa FIFA World Cup 26™’ competition terms and conditions

The ANZ ‘Visa FIFA World Cup 26™’ competition starts on Sunday 1 February 2026 at 12.01am and ends on Saturday 28 February 2026 at 11.59am (the Offer period).

By entering the competition, you could win a trip for two to the FIFA World Cup 26™ which includes:

• Return economy flights for two people to Vancouver, from your nearest international airport in New Zealand, departing Sunday, 21 June 2026 and returning Saturday, 27 June 2026
• Six nights’ accommodation for two people at a four-star hotel, in a twin-share room (including daily breakfast)
• Two FIFA World Cup 26™ category one match tickets for two people
• A one-day activity or cultural experience for two people in Vancouver
• One Visa prepaid card worth USD900 for spending money
• Gift and amenities voucher worth USD400
• Transfers to and from the airport via motorcoach in Vancouver for two people
• Local ground transportation via motorcoach for two people, to and from scheduled events
• Access to Visa’s onsite event team support staff.

The prize excludes any meals, events, and activities outside of the listed programme itinerary above, nor does it cover any hotel incidentals.

If you win the prize, you will need to pay any costs associated with claiming the prize which aren’t included above.

Each eligible purchase you make on your personal ANZ Visa Debit and/or credit card in the Offer period, will automatically give you one entry into the draw to win. There is no limit on how many purchases you can make. There is no minimum spend required.

If you have more than one personal Visa card, e.g. a Visa credit and/or Visa Debit card, the total number of purchases you make across these cards will be added together.

An eligible purchase includes any purchases made on your personal Visa Debit or credit card. However, it does not include ATM cash withdrawals or cash advances, spend related to gambling, reversals and merchant refunds, purchase of foreign currency, travel cheques, topping up gift, prepaid or travel cards, purchases of cryptocurrency or shares and transactions of a value and volume that we deem have been made specifically to ‘game’ the entry criteria.

Personal credit card transactions made by an affiliate cardholder will be counted toward the primary account holder’s entry.  For joint account holders, the winner will be selected based on who made the winning transaction.

By entering the competition, you accept these terms and conditions.

To enter you must:

• Be aged 18 years or older on Saturday 28 February 2026 
• Be a New Zealand resident, or living in New Zealand with at least six months remaining on a valid visa when entering the competition
• Be a personal ANZ customer with an active personal ANZ Visa Debit card or credit card when you enter and at the time of the prize draw
• Complete at least one eligible purchase within the offer period.

To be able to claim the prize, you must be aged 18 years or older. If your travel companion is aged under 18, the parent/guardian of the travel companion will need to provide written consent for them to attend. You must both have valid passports and be able to be permitted entry into Canada. You must be available from 21 June 2026 to 27 June 2026. Further details such as the departure point, flight times, accommodation details, support, and management of the hospitality experiences will be confirmed by ANZ’s prize fulfilment partner Visa Worldwide Pte. Limited (Visa). 

The travel arrangements (including dates and airline) cannot be changed and must be accepted by the winner. Any changes to any elements of the prize will be at the winner’s own expense and must be agreed to by ANZ. Arrangements cannot be made to extend the stay in the host city. All travel is subject to availability at all times and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner.  

ANZ employees and contractors are not eligible to enter the competition.

You must be willing to allow ANZ to use your first name, region, and/or photos on social media in accordance with the Privacy conditions below. 

All entries will be verified based on the eligibility criteria listed in these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry without notice if it doesn’t meet eligibility requirements or breaches these terms and conditions.

The prize draw will take place on 6 March 2026.

ANZ will draw the winners from eligible entrants, and if your entry is the first drawn that meets these terms and conditions, and we can contact you in the required time frames, you will win the prize. 

ANZ will attempt to contact the potential winner by phone call and/or SMS within two business days of the prize draw. If the potential winner cannot be reached after three call attempts within that time, they will forfeit the prize, and another entry will be drawn.  

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. If for any reason the prize becomes unavailable, we may swap it for a similar or equal prize without notice. 

Our decision is final.

All FIFA World Cup 26™ tickets are issued subject to the FIFA World Cup 26™ legal document terms and conditions.

Any airline tickets that form part of the prize are subject to that airline’s terms and conditions.

All other third-party tickets issued are subject to that party’s ticket terms and conditions.

We will hold and use the information you provide to enter this competition in line with our Privacy Statement.

By entering this competition, you agree that ANZ can (at its discretion) use your first name, region, and/or photos on its social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook and Instagram. Your name, region, and photos may be used for promotional purposes or other updates relating to ANZ or its products. We will not upload photos that include your face. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us in writing.

Visa are a third party associated with this promotion. The information you provide to enter this competition will be collected by or shared with them. This allows them to contact the winner and deliver prizes. 

You have the right to check and correct any information you provide to enter this competition.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) connected to this competition or prize, the associated travel, or any act or omission by us, to the extent the law allows. This also applies to other organisations connected with this promotion. The only exceptions are for wilful default or gross negligence.

If an entry is not received due to any type of technical problem, organisations running this competition, including ANZ, are not liable.

For goods or services supplied by third parties, we do not guarantee their quality or suitability for your circumstances. To the extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any loss due to using those goods or services.

We may change, extend, or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
