Who can apply

No matter how small or large you are, you can apply for business lending. Whether you're in fashion, fishing, finance or farming we have something for everyone. 

To apply online you need to be:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • A key financial decision-maker for your business.

Additionally, your business needs to:

  • Have operated for at least two years.
  • Have an active MYOB or Xero account with the currency set to New Zealand dollars.

About this MYOB offer and benefits

What to expect

1. Apply online using goBiz

Fill out and submit your application online.

This can take 10-20 minutes to complete depending on your business.

2. Connect to MYOB or Xero

In the application form, we’ll ask you to log in to MYOB or Xero through a secure one-time connection portal.

This is so we can access your financial information and attach it to your application.

3. An ANZ banker will contact you

Within five working days, one of our bankers will call you to go through your details, business tax returns, personal finances and contact details for any co-applicants.

This will help them assess your application and find suitable finance options for your business.

Access to your information

We’ll only have access to your MYOB or Xero account while you’re sending us your financial information. We don't have access to your account any time after that.

What you will need

  • Your login details for MYOB or Xero accounting software. Our system will connect and get your profit and loss statement, transaction history and balance sheet from the past two financial years and year-to-date. Make sure your financials are up-to-date and transactions are reconciled.
  • Information about yourself and your business.
