InPrivate

Spring 2023 Edition

Welcome to our spring issue of InPrivate.

We’re delighted to share that ANZ Investments has been named a Responsible Investment Leader by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) in their 2023 Benchmark Report.

With only two months left of 2023, there’s plenty on investors’ minds – including whether we’ve seen the last of rate hikes from our central bank. In this issue you can read what the team at ANZ Investments is watching for, plus our quarterly investment update.

You will have seen a great deal of media coverage on investment scams in recent months. We know from data that these types of scams are on the rise and getting increasingly more sophisticated. The very nature of an investment scam means the sums lost can be devastating – so there’s good reason to be vigilant. We look at the most common tactics used by scammers and what you can do to protect your money.

And finally: how do the experts invest? We sit down with Maaike Van Tol, Head of Asset Allocation at ANZ Investments, to find out her approach and what a ‘day in the life’ looks like for her and the team.

Wherever you’re at on your investment journey, there’s a lot to take away from this edition of InPrivate. I hope you enjoy the read.
