Rates are available for Retail and Business Banking customers and apply up to the first $5,000,000 held by the customer in all term deposits with ANZ. For rates applicable to amounts in excess of $5,000,000, please contact us.

Rates are available for Retail and Business Banking customers and apply up to the first $5,000,000 held by the customer in all investments in the ANZ PIE Fund - Term Option. For rates applicable to amounts in excess of $5,000,000, please contact us.

* For 30% and 33% taxpayers, ANZ PIE Fund returns are taxed at 28%.The effective rate is the rate you would need to earn if taxed at your income tax rate, to achieve the same after tax return as investing in the Call / Term Option at a PIR of 28%. The calculation assumes interest is paid quarterly and is not compounded.
** Applies to investors with taxable income of $48,001 to $70,000.
^ Applies to investors with taxable income of $70,001 and over.

Fees

A Term Deposit is a fixed term investment designed for those who want certainty of an interest rate that’s fixed for the duration of the investment term and don’t require their funds on call.

No fees are charged for Term Deposits, however we’ll adjust your returns by 3% per annum on the amount you withdraw if we agree to let you make an early withdrawal (your return will not go below 0%).
