Bruce Macintyre - Dip. Banking, Dip. Bus Fin
Chief Risk Officer, ANZ, New Zealand
Bruce leads New Zealand’s risk management function including wholesale and retail credit risk, market, operating and compliance risk, as well as lending services, portfolio reporting and provisioning functions. Bruce has more than 26 years of experience in banking, starting out with The National Bank, including experience in managing the wholesale banking operational risk and compliance, lending services and credit risk functions.
Bruce is a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Penny Ford - MA (Fin), BE (Hon Chemical & Process), BSc
General Manager, Commercial & Agri Auckland & Northland, New Zealand
Penny is responsible for leading the Commercial and Agri relationship teams and supporting customer needs for the Auckland and Northland regions. The Commercial and Agri business provides a broad suite of banking products and relationship services to help medium to large businesses, farmers and small agri-businesses. Penny has worked for 16 years in the banking industry, primarily in New Zealand with some time in Asia and Australia also. Penny has held various roles over this time, principally in financial markets and a shorter amount of time in corporate finance. Penny was a Director on the UDC Finance Limited board - a wholly owned subsidiary of ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited - from 2011 to 2013.
Penny is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Craig Mulholland - BCom, LLB, LLM (Hons), MBA
Managing Director, Wealth
Craig is responsible for ANZ’s wealth business in New Zealand which includes our insurance products, KiwiSaver, Managed Funds, Private Bank portfolio and Wholesale investments.
Prior to accepting this role, Craig was General Counsel and Company Secretary, responsible for legal and corporate governance matters for ANZ and its New Zealand businesses. He has more than 20 years’ experience in legal and commercial roles across a range of industries in New Zealand and overseas. Before joining ANZ in 2011, Craig worked in a leading private practice in New Zealand and held a number of high profile in-house legal roles in large listed and private companies. Craig has extensive governance experience as a director on private and joint venture companies and advising boards of directors.
Annis O’Brien - BCom, BA, CA, GAICD
Head of External Reporting, New Zealand
Annis is responsible for ANZ’s statutory and regulatory reporting requirements in New Zealand. She also leads ANZ’s global subsidiary statutory reporting process. Annis has extensive financial reporting and governance experience over more than 20 years, including executive roles within financial institutions in New Zealand, London, Hong Kong and the Cook Islands. She joined ANZ in 2010.
Annis is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Antonia Watson - CAANZ (CA), BCom (Hons), GAICD
Managing Director Retail and Business Banking
Antonia is responsible for our Retail and Business Banking business, which includes our network of retail branches, contact centres and banking specialists who take care of over two million consumer and small business customers. Prior to accepting this role, Antonia was ANZ New Zealand’s Chief Financial Officer. Antonia joined ANZ from Morgan Stanley, where she was General Manager of their business services and technology centre in Budapest and had various Finance roles in Sydney and London. She qualified as a chartered accountant at KPMG.
