ANZ Data Sharing
With Data Sharing, you can use the ANZ goMoney app to agree to share information about your eligible ANZ accounts with approved third parties to access more personalised services.

What you need to use this service
- You need to be at least 18 years of age.
- You may need to enter a mobile number that you’ve verified with OnlineCode or ANZ Pay to Mobile so we can match Data Sharing requests to you.
- You may be asked to scan a QR code as part of ANZ’s secure Data Sharing approval process. To do so, you need to use the QR code scanner within goMoney.
- You need to have an eligible ANZ everyday account (e.g. Go, Freedom or Business Current), savings account, credit card, loan or term deposit account.
- You need the latest version of the goMoney on your device. Visit the Apple App Store— or Google Play™ Store— to download the app.
How it works
It just takes a few steps
- You’ll be taken to your data sharing request in goMoney automatically.
- You may need to provide your mobile number to the third party. Then open goMoney, go to your profile in the top left, and select Security & access > Data Sharing.
- You may be asked to scan a QR code in goMoney. To do so, open goMoney, go to your profile in the top left, and select Security & access > Scan QR code. Scan the code and you’ll be taken to your data sharing request automatically.
Check the request details, then select the accounts you’d like to share information about. Select Approve and then return to where you started the data sharing request.
Our approved third parties
What bank account information can be shared
Some or all of the following account information can be shared, depending on what the third party or ANZ needs to provide their service to you. When you approve a data sharing request in goMoney, you can select ‘Information that can be shared’ for more specific details.
Contact details:
- Name (individual or business)
- Address (residential, postal or business)
- Phone numbers
- Email address
Account details:
- Account number
- Account nickname (if you’ve added one)
Balance details:
- Balance amount
- Balance date and time
Transaction details:
- Who you pay money to
- Who you receive money from
- Amount
- Date and time
- Description (such as reference details and payment type)
- Balance after each transaction
How to stop sharing information
Once a data sharing request is approved, you and others with authority over the account can view what’s been shared and stop sharing at any time.
- In goMoney, go to your profile in the top left, select Security & access > Data Sharing, and select the approved data sharing request you’d like to stop.
- Select Stop sharing. Your information will stop being shared immediately and any future information requests will be denied.
- You can view expired or stopped data sharing agreements in the ‘Past’ tab.
If data sharing requests aren't working as expected
- Check you meet the requirements outlined in the ‘What you need to use this service’ section above.
- You may need to enter your mobile number you've verified with OnlineCode or Pay to Mobile so we can match data sharing requests to you. You can register for or check your OnlineCode preferences in ANZ Internet Banking under ‘Your settings’. Or you can register for or update Pay to Mobile in goMoney under your profile.
- You may be asked to scan a QR code as part of ANZ’s secure Data Sharing approval process. To do so, you need to use the QR code scanner within goMoney.
- Check you have an eligible ANZ everyday account (e.g. Go, Freedom or Business Current), savings account, credit card, loan or term deposit account.
- The request may have expired if it's been more than 10 minutes, which means you need to begin the process again.
- Check you have the latest version of goMoney. Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play™ Store to download or update your app.
How your information is shared and kept safe
- We only work with third parties that have gone through a due diligence process and have agreed to meet our security and privacy standards.
- A third party or ANZ can only use your information for the purpose you agreed to and is required to keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with their service.
- To make sure you understand a third party’s service and how they collect and use your information and keep it safe, check their terms and conditions and privacy policy.
- You can trust that all communication between a third party and ANZ is secure and encrypted.
