Offer dates
This offer starts on Tuesday 27 January 2026 at 12.01am and ends on Monday 9 March 2026 at 11.59 pm (the Account Opening Period). The Account Opening Period dates can change.
The offer
Eligible customers who join ANZ during the Account Opening Period using the ANZ goMoney app with an ANZ Go account, a new linked ANZ Visa Debit card, and use that new Visa Debit card to make five eligible transactions during the Spend Period defined in paragraph 3 below, will receive $100 paid into their new Go account.
Eligible customers will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by successfully joining ANZ using goMoney (as described under ‘Joining ANZ using goMoney’ below) and making five eligible transactions with their personal ANZ Visa Debit card in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the offer, you must:
- Join ANZ as a new customer using goMoney, with a Go account and a new linked personal Visa Debit card during the Account Opening Period; and
- Meet the criteria set out under ‘Joining ANZ using goMoney’ below; and
- Make five eligible transactions using your new linked personal Visa Debit card between Tuesday 27 January 2026 at 12.01am and Monday 30 March 2026 at 11.59pm (the Spend Period). Eligible transactions include all types of payment methods (contactless, inserting your card, or online purchases) excluding any reversals, ATM cash withdrawals, transfers, interest credits, or fee charges. There is no minimum spend required for the five eligible transactions; and
- Have the Go account you opened when you joined ANZ still open, with an active linked Visa Debit card on 24 April 2026.
You are not eligible for the offer if you:
- Are an ‘Existing ANZ Customer’. An ‘Existing ANZ Customer’ is someone who currently holds any product with ANZ, or held an ANZ Freedom, Go, Jumpstart, Select, Benefits, Premium, Private Banking Current, or Agri Personal Current account at any time between 26 July 2025 and 26 January 2026
- Are an ANZ employee or contractor
- Join ANZ using goMoney with a ‘profile only’ and then subsequently apply for a Go Account and a new linked Visa Debit card
- Join ANZ using goMoney as a sole trader
- Do not comply with these terms and conditions including the eligibility criteria.
Our account eligibility, terms, and fees apply to new Go accounts and to Visa Debit cards. You need to be 13 years or older to apply for a Visa Debit card.
Joint accounts count as one customer only and are only eligible for one $100 deposit.
If you open more than one Go account within the Account Opening Period, only one of the accounts will be eligible for this offer and if you comply with these terms and conditions and the eligibility criteria, you will receive only one $100 deposit.

Joining ANZ using goMoney
To join ANZ using goMoney, you need be 13 years or older, have a valid New Zealand identification (NZ passport or driver licence) and be living in New Zealand.
To be eligible to receive the $100, you need to successfully pass identification and selfie video checks within the Join using goMoney application process. If we ask you to come into branch or we call you to complete further checks and you have been accepted subject to those additional checks, you will still be eligible to receive the $100 provided you comply with the other offer terms and conditions, including the eligibility criteria.
However, if you do not pass your ID checks within the Join using goMoney process either because you have invalid ID, there is an ID error, the selfie or other ID checks do not pass, or you experience a technical problem, and are directed to join ANZ using another method, you will not be eligible.
If you meet the eligibility criteria above and set out in paragraph 4 of these terms and conditions, we will credit $100 to your new Go account (see ‘Receiving the $100 credit’ for more information).
Receiving the $100 credit
We will identify eligible customers between 30 March 2026 and 17 April 2026.
We reserve the right to disqualify any person or account, if it doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria set out above, and these terms and conditions. Our decision is final.
If we determine that you are eligible for the $100 payment, we will deposit the $100 into your new Go account by 24 April 2026. We’ll send you a message in goMoney, or we’ll text you, using the details we have on file for your account, to let you know we’ve made the deposit. If we can’t contact you, we’ll still make the payment to your new Go account by 24 April 2026. Please keep your contact details up to date.

Liability exclusions: When we are not legally responsible
We will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) connected to this offer, or any act or omission by us, to the extent the law allows. This also applies to other organisations connected with this promotion. The only exceptions are for wilful default or gross negligence.
Other conditions
We may change, extend, or cancel the offer or these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
