Leading with inclusion

Inclusive leadership is at the heart of our Equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) strategy. We believe that leaders who actively seek out diverse perspectives different to their own will lead more innovative and high-performing teams.


Key initiatives

  • Capability development: Providing leaders with the tools and knowledge to foster inclusive environments.
  • Accountability: Setting clear diversity and inclusion goals and holding leaders accountable for progress.
  • Sponsorship programmes: Encouraging leaders to sponsor diverse talent within the organisation.

Impact

When we generate greater inclusive leadership capability it will drive high performance outcomes. Examples include:

  • Stronger teams: Inclusive leaders build cohesive, high-performing teams.
  • Enhanced decision-making: Diverse leadership leads to better decision-making and problem-solving.
