How to make OneAnswer KiwiSaver Scheme your preferred provider

Choosing the OneAnswer KiwiSaver Scheme as your preferred provider for your workplace is easy. Simply download, read and sign the OneAnswer KiwiSaver scheme preferred provider agreement form and either post or email it back to us. If you’d prefer us to send you a copy of the form, just give us a call on 0800 736 034.

What happens once you’ve signed up?

Once we’ve received your signed agreement, we’ll contact Inland Revenue to let them know you’ve chosen the OneAnswer KiwiSaver Scheme as your preferred KiwiSaver scheme.

We’ll also send you our start-up packs, which include the OneAnswer KiwiSaver Scheme guide and product disclosure statement. You’ll need to provide these to new employees within seven days of them starting work, along with:

  • A KiwiSaver information pack from Inland Revenue.
  • A statement advising employees that they will be allocated to the OneAnswer KiwiSaver Scheme if they don’t choose a different scheme.

As an employer, you also have an ongoing role to play in helping your employees with KiwiSaver and ensuring it runs smoothly in your workplace. For more information about your KiwiSaver obligations, visit the IR KiwiSaver website.
