Transcript – How to get started with Internet Banking

Voiceover: Welcome to ANZ Internet Banking, where you can do just about all your banking online, anytime.
Voiceover: This video is an overview of the main things you can do. Let us show you how.

Voiceover: To get started, go to anz.co.nz.
Voiceover: Select ‘Log in’ at the top right corner of the screen. If you haven't registered yet, select ‘Register now’ in the top right-hand corner and follow the instructions. Otherwise, simply enter your customer number. If you don't know it, you can usually find it on your ANZ EFTPOS or Visa Debit card, or just give us a call.

Then enter your password and select ‘Log on’.
Voiceover: The first screen you'll see is the home page. This provides an overview of the accounts you have access to. You can select an account to see more information, like transactions and account details.

Voiceover: Or you can select ‘View recent transactions’ to see the five most recent transactions for that account.

Voiceover: If you select ‘Quick transfer’ at the top right of this page you can quickly transfer money between your ANZ accounts, including paying the balance on your credit card.
Now let's look at the menu across the top of the page. It has a selection of categories for the main things you can do.

Voiceover: We'll go over them one by one.
The first option is ‘Home’, select this at any time to return to this home page.
The second option is 'Your accounts'. Select this to see your individual accounts and balances. From here you can select any account to view all transactions, account details and statements.
The third option is ‘Pay and transfer’. This is where you can access options for transferring money between your accounts, paying a person or bill, paying tax, sending money overseas, or viewing upcoming payments.
The fourth option is ‘Apply and open’. Here you can easily apply for a bank account, credit card, home or personal loan. You can even request a Visa Debit card for an account.
The fifth option is ‘Your settings’. This is where you can manage your personal details and preferences, like your password, statement options and contact details. You can also manage your cards here, whether setting or changing your card PIN or applying a temporary block if you've misplaced your card.
The sixth option is ‘Documents’. Here you can view, download and print account statements or tax certificates. Just select the account and time period, and select ‘Search’.
The last option is ‘Bank mail’. Here you can send and receive confidential account information about your accounts by sending us a secure message.

Voiceover: There's a few things to remember when using Internet Banking. To help keep your money safe, don't share your passwords or online codes with anyone, even us.

Voiceover: If your internet browser prompts you to save your password, decline this action. And make sure you log off after every session using the ‘Log off’ button at the top right corner of the screen. For extra security, after three minutes of inactivity you'll automatically be logged off.
