Dispute an ATM deposit or withdrawal
To dispute an ATM transaction, contact your bank. They will contact the ATM owner on your behalf.
To lodge a dispute, you need to be the cardholder that made the transaction. You have 60 days from the transaction date to lodge a dispute.
We’ll need specific information from you, including:
- ATM location
- Date of the transaction
- Card number used
- Amount deposited or withdrawn.
Call us on 0800 269 296 or visit any ANZ branch and we'll complete a transaction dispute form with you.
We’ll try to finish our investigation and let you know the outcome within 10 business days of the form submission. If we need longer, we’ll let you know.
