Google Pay™ and Fitbit Pay™

All you need is a compatible Android™ device and an ANZ Visa Debit card or ANZ Visa credit card to make payments with Google Pay and Fitbit Pay. A little bit of magic.

Key features

Security

  • Multiple layers of security – Google Pay and Google Wallet™ protect your payment information with multiple layers of security, using one of the world’s most advanced security infrastructures to help keep your account safe.
  • Your information isn’t shared – When you use your device to pay in stores, Google Pay and Fitbit Pay doesn’t send your actual credit or debit card number with your payment. Instead, an encrypted virtual account number is used to represent your information – so your real card details stay safe.
  • Safeguarding consecutive payments – If you make three consecutive payments without unlocking your device, you may be prompted to unlock your device before you can make another payment.
  • Payment authorisation required – High value transactions (over NZ$200) require you to unlock your device or you may need to enter your card PIN at the terminal to authorise the transaction. Fitbit Pay also requires you to use a personal four-digit PIN for an added layer of protection.
  • Inactive cards deleted – If your device has been turned off, lost, or otherwise inactive in the last 90 days, then cards may be deleted for your security.
