How to open an account

Join ANZ the fast way using our goMoney app

New to ANZ? You can join with a Go account using goMoney— – no branch visit needed—.

You’ll need to be 13+, have a New Zealand residential address and a current New Zealand ID (passport or driver licence).

If you can’t join using the app or want a different account, you can still apply online or call us.

Existing customers

Apply for an account using ANZ goMoney or Internet Banking— and your account should open automatically. 

Otherwise, you can apply using our online form and we'll open your account within a few days.
