A high-interest everyday account designed for customers who maintain high balances in their everyday account.

Manual transactions

These are transactions completed with the assistance of ANZ staff and include making in-branch deposits, cheques written, withdrawals or transfers.
Note: Deposits made through an ANZ Fast Deposit Box are charged as staff-assisted transactions.

ATM/Electronic transactions

These are transactions completed without the assistance of Bank staff and include ATM, EFTPOS, ANZ Phone Direct, ANZ Internet Banking, automatic payment (AP), direct debit (DD), direct credit (DC), Bill Payment and Pay Anyone transactions.

ANZ Phone Direct

ANZ Phone Direct fees are calculated per calendar month and charged to the first linked account on the account's key date. Call charges will apply for calls made from overseas or cellular phones.

Account's key date

Your monthly key date will either be the day on which you opened your account or the end of each calendar month.

The account's key date is important because it triggers the following events:

  • Interest will be credited or debited to an account on this date.
  • Administration and account transaction fees will be charged to an account on this date.

Note: Each of your accounts has its own key date.
